bm\mp combines creative thinking, science based targets and know-how in integrated design. Founded over extensive experience in architecture, environmental design as well as digital computational design we want to create buildings, spaces and environments that are interesting, engaging and climate responsive.

Our main goal is to generate spaces where human comfort is paramount while remaining responsible to the environmental challenges, present and future.


Byron studied Architecture + Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens. He did his master in Sustainable Environmental Design at the Architectural Association school of Architecture in London.

He has worked in big international practices in London, taking up leading roles around Environmental Design and Sustainability. His goal has been to enable better integration of environmental thinking during the design process. With the use of parametric and dynamic techniques he enables a non-static, science-based design workflow.

He is a tutor in the Sustainable Environmental Design programme in the Architectural Association School of Architecture since 2013. He has also lectured in Manchester School of Architecture and School of Architecture and Design in the University of Brighton.

Being part of the ladybug.tools team, Byron has been active in the AEC community.


Mileni studied Architecture + Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens. She did her master in Sustainable Environmental Design at the Architectural Association school of Architecture in London.

She has an extensive experience in managing high stake projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams towards a common target and engaging with stakeholders in comprehensive workflows throughout the different project stages.

With keen eye to details, she ensures quality delivery of projects and design and minimising risk of failure.

Mileni has been invited as an external assessor during design reviews at the Architectural Association school of Architecture.

With a background in Architecture and Environmental design, we ensure a streamlined interdisciplinary design process throughout the different design stages. Architecture, form, link to surroundings and an overall holistic design - being the main approach - are informed by scientific/data driven factors. We believe that architecture and engineering can be key factors in creating a more responsible and responsive built environment, that aligns with and exceeds current aspirations.

Computational/Digital design methods are employed to resolve more complicated design options.

Our experience in these different aspects and methods of design enables us to produce and deliver work in an efficient manner. We also invest a lot of resources in communication, making sure that visual representation of our work is easy to access and comprehend by all stakeholders.
